Many of the leading Main Contractors, Builders and Developers will only work with suppliers that have been approved by their central procurement team. If you are trying to break into a company and the QS asks ‘Are you on our PSL?’, you need to go back to the start and find out who is responsible? When does it get reviewed? And how do you get on the list?
Crannull can help with this process. If we identify the companies you want to target, we can find out if you need to be on their PSLO to deliver your product/service. If the answer is yes, we will then identify who is responsible for this and speak to them. Usually this will result with them sending you a PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) to complete and return.
Once you have been approved to be on their PSL, it does not mean you will start doing business with the organisation, it is only the first step. Our next step is to contact all the key decision makers on various projects to inform them you are now an approved supplier. This allows them to engage in conversations with you about how you can assist with their projects.
