Management Team

See the management team behind Crannull Australia. We have decades of experience in construction sales and lead generation across Australia and the UK.

Director

Tom William Fitzgerald

Tom has a wealth of experience in the construction industry that spans more than 20 years, both in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Having left school at 16, Tom went on to work at his father’s construction company, learning the fundamental skills of the construction industry and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Tom moved to Ireland in 2004 to search for a new challenge and was presented with an opportunity to join a construction recruitment company. This was new to him, but with his outgoing personality, knowledge of the construction industry and determination, he flourished in his new role. Whilst working with all these organisations, Tom spotted a trend and a missing link in their sales approach and this provided the foundations for a new business.

Director

James Patrick Maguire

James was brought up within the construction industry and prior to graduating from university he spent many summers working on site with Byrne Bros, giving him a great understanding of how this sector operated. With a degree in business studies, James was originally going to pursue a career in accountancy. Business Development Manager (ANZ)

Daniel Fleary

Daniel grew up in the North East of England and attended Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College before moving into accounting and sales — a path that quickly revealed where his true strengths lay. From there, he built a career firmly rooted in business development and client relationship management, accumulating over 15 years of experience across construction, digital services, and the wider built environment.

Daniel joined Crannull in July 2023 as a Business Development Executive, representing clients spanning geotechnical and structural civil engineering, subcontractors, ESD consultants, certifiers, product manufacturers, and machinery hire — across mining, construction, and major infrastructure projects throughout Australia. Consistently exceeding client targets, Daniel developed a sharp understanding of how different businesses operate, how they source work, and what drives conversion. He didn’t just deliver leads — he fed back smarter targeting strategies that helped clients uncover opportunities they hadn’t previously considered, directly improving their pipeline and win rate.

That initiative and consistency earned him his promotion to Business Development Manager in December 2025. In this role, Daniel identifies companies with a genuine need for Crannull’s service, educates them on the benefits, and takes the time to fully understand their business model before building a tailored strategy to boost their pipeline — leading the charge across the construction sector and wider built environment throughout Australia and New Zealand.
